Dry pumping station EDP type constitutes a complete and fully automated device.

Sewage flows into the pumping station through the cascade well 17 and a pipe storage tank 18. Sewage flowing to the pumping station is directed to the distributive tank 4, to which pump units 13 are attached. Pump units 13 are automatically and alternatively powered up once and adequate level of waste water has been reached in distributive tank 4. This level is measured with level sensor 7, which is installed in distributive tank 4. With an intensive inflow, and when the power-up level of one of the pumps has been exceeded, the other pump 4 is powered up.

The capacity of the distributing tank as well as the output and the number of pump units are selected talking into account the volume of sewage flowing in as well as the lifting height.

The whole dry sewage pumping station is installed in dry chamber 19 (prefabricated concrete elements), whitch allows a direct inspection of the correctness of the operation of the pumping station. It also facilitates the disassembly, replacement and the maintenance of its individual elements in hygienic conditions.
